These unique and tasty empanadas are Colombian style. These empanadas have an outer crust made with precooked cornmeal. The filling is cheese curd. Frying these empanadas gives them a crispy exterior, but the cornmeal pastry is deliciously creamy and soft on the inside, also these empanadas can be cook in the oven.
